While travelling along the state I was amazed by the number of tourists arriving in Florida. It is due to its history and geographical position the state is very popular. The main occupation of the population is definitely tourists' service. This branch of economy has formed quite recently. According to the historical events of the first Word War tourism began spreading around Florida very fast. Millions of visitors come back here annually and bring much money in the economy. In Florida you can meet tourists from each corner of the USA and all over the world. You even may come across with your future wife or husband - it is not an exception. A special tourist infrastructure has been formed to provide comfortable conditions for those who arrive here to spend money. There are more than 5000 motels, 800 hotels of various types; many of them are designed to tastes of very rich people. Lots of attractions are open for visitors. For example, there is a well-known Disneyland Park, which is very loved by children. The staff is made of the population of Florida.
It is worth seeing the Kennedy Cosmic Center located on Canaveral Cape, which is famous for cosmic investigation and new technologies. You can see movies about conquer of cosmic space, prominent cosmonauts, a real cosmic ship and the like.
I loved the trip along the Everglades - it must be tried by everyone who wants to visit Florida. We even saw an alligator, by the way.
Such cultural monuments as the Bastion San Marco, De Soto and others are also worth paying attention to. Miami is a good place for entertainment. It consists of a few parts: Miami Beach, South Beach, Hotel Row and so on. These are very picturesque places. The richest hotels with all modern conveniences are situated here along the beaches. In business center a visitor can find banks, different bureaus and companies where you can book tickets, rent cars and boats. For those who like going shopping there are lots of stores of different types and designs. I was very satisfied with the trip to Florida, that paradise, which is dreamt by many of my countrymen.
